REPORT OF THE 41^ST MEETING OF ASEAN CHARTERED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER COORDINATING COMMITTEE (ACPECC)

 24 October 2019, Pasay City, Philippines

INTRODUCTION 

 1-The 41^st Meeting of the ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineers Coordinating Committee (ACPECC) was

held on 24 October 2019 in Pasay City, Philippines, back to back with the 94^th Meeting of the ASEAN

Coordinating Committee on Services (CCS).

2-The Meeting was chaired by that Assoc.Prof. Sarithdej Pathanasethpong, from Thailand Council of

Engineers, and attended by representatives from all ASEAN Member States (AMS) as well as the ASEAN

Secretariat staff.  The list of delegates appears as ANNEX 1.

 3. The Meeting adopted the agenda, which appears as ANNEX 2.

 AGENDA ITEM 2.     NEW ACPECC CHAIRMAN

4.  The Meeting noted the letter from Thailand which appears as ANNEX 3, on the appointment of Assoc.Prof. Sarithdej Pathanasethpong, the new Vice President of Council of Engineers, Thailand as the new ACPECC Chairman. The Meeting thanked Dr. Krai Tungsanga for chairing the last three meetings of ACPECC.

AGENDA ITEM 3.     ASSESSMENT STATEMENTS AND MONITORING COMMITTEES

 5.   The Meeting took note of revised Monitoring Committee of Indonesia, Lao PDR, and Viet Nam which jointly appear as ANNEX 4.

6. Cambodia informed the Meeting that it is still in the process of updating its Assessment Statements to be

consistent with the 5 classification of engineering disciplines presented at the 40^th ACPECC Meeting.

 7. Lao PDR also submitted revised Assessment Statement which appears as ANNEX 5.

 8. The latest status of AMS submission on Assessment Statements and Monitoring Committee as follows:

9. The Meeting noted inaccuracies in the last meeting’s record, and corrected the record as follows (changes tracked in red fonts):
