Generally, engineers play a significant role in improving the living conditions of human being. To achieve this goal, engineers use their technical knowledge and experiences to transform natural resources into finished products to satisfy the social demand.

In this regard, the efficient management of engineer and the upgrade of professional qualification are indispensable for the development of economy and poverty reduction in conformity with the Royal Government of Cambodia’s Rectangular Strategy.

Currently, the RGC has been considering the management of national intellectual engineering resources and enhancing the standards of education. For this reason the Board of Engineers Cambodia (BEC) was established.
